Strangers Reunion
So, following the cafe craze with all the teenagers, me and my bestie decided to give strangers reunion a visit. Just a side note; you can find all sort of cafe in these three websites: http://thecafection.com/ , http://www.ladyironchef.com/ and http://foodmakespeoplehappy.blogspot.sg/. So every table has this vintage looking bottle (filled with tap water). The place is small, and cram, and since it was lunch hour, and it was packed with people, our 2 seater table was definitely not enough for all that we had ordered.

Strangers Reunion - English Breakfast Tea
So I ordered English Breakfast Tea, and wondered why would tea be so expensive. Than I realized why when this whole tea set came. I'm sure this would be more appropriate if I was here for high-tea, but no, I was there for brunch. So this tea set kind of took up the large area.

Ham Hock Benedict
Both me and my bestie ordered the same; Ham Hock Benedict. I have no idea what is Ham Hock. But just to describe to you the taste, it taste a little like cheese. I really like the combination of all the ingredients on the plate. (sorry for the super blur picture). I've always loved eggs benedict. But sadly, my bestie's poached egg was a little under cooked.

Butter Milk Waffles
After the egg's benedict, we shared a mutter milk waffle with vanilla ice cream and sliced fruits. The Vanilla ice cream was awesome. It really complimented the waffle a lot, and kind of covered the over-the-top strong butter and milk smell from the waffle. The waffle itself wasn't that good, but the ice cream was to die for.
For people who want to eat only the waffles, there is a shop beside strangers reunion that sells their waffles only.

Korean Ramyun
After the satisfactory brunch we had, we went to orchard (since we didn't have anything to do), bought some stuff and ate again. We are at this shop at Scape lvl 1. It was just so tempting, even though we aren't hungry, we still ate.

Akashi - Sweet Potato Tempura
I love their sweet potato Tempura! It's like the most awesome way you can ever eat a sweet potato.

Akashi - Beef Udon
Awesome noodles, but not worth the price. It's such a small bowl. Though I really love the soup and the beef; the beef isn't over cooked and is tender. For people that don't really like the normal thick udon noodles, this noodles are like thin, flat, and super smooth.

4 Fingers
Finally trying 4 fingers. It's been the recent popular chicken/fast food place for Singaporeans. I shared with my friend a mixture of drumlet and wings in a 6 piece set box.
There is a choice of a soy sauce or spicy sauce, and unknowingly, my friend bought the mixed one - in which she though would mean some soy some spicy, but no it's just a mixture of the two sauce. The fries also comes in Kimchi or seaweed flavour, we bought the seaweed flavoured one.

So, the food came in this cute portable camping tin. The chicken seemed like there was very little meat, and lot more of the crust. But the crust was really crispy; would probably taste a lot better if it was a bigger piece of chicken. I love the sauce, but my friend was dying of spiciness; so for people that can't take spicy, take the soy sauce one.
The french fries, a disappointment. It wasn't even seaweed flavoured. There was no trace of seaweed at all. Prefer the shaker fries from Mc dolands and fries from Everything with Fries.

Spinelli
Dropped by spinelli to grab a drink and wait for my sister to finish her work (internship), with my mum. Bought the Sunkiss twist which was basically ice blended orange with vanilla. Weird combination, but somehow you can get addicted to this flavour. It's like orange juice, with a tint of vanilla smell.

Drips
Went to Drips. http://drips.com.sg
This is the Drinks station where they make all the drinks.

Drink
Had Hand shaken Lemon Tea. Which taste like water with lemon and lime. Quite nice, but nothing special.

Tarts
When we got there, there was a very limited amount of tarts we could choose from. And honestly, I thought they they would have things like Pancakes and stuff like that (from the website). The three tarts here is Raspberry, pear and Mixed berry. Only the Mixed Berry has the custard filling.

Raspberry Tart
Honestly, it does not taste good. The tart was warm, which was weird. I was also thinking that it would have a custard filling, but they didnt have. The raspberry was also very sour. The pastry tasted a little uncooked.

Tea: Wimbly Lu
Had larva cake with vanilla ice cream. at wimbly lu. I really liked the ice cream, not to heavy on the cream and a very light flavor to it, with a stronger vanilla scent, which really complements the larva chocolate, because it was just too rice and heavy for me.

Tea: Wimbly Lu
Ordered Matcha latte (that's iced latte at the back). Didn't really liked it because it tasted way to diluted. It barely had any taste.

Dolce Tokyo
Went back to this cafe at 313 somerset for my project.

Tea
This time round I just ordered a regular tea. It's called Gen Mai Cha. Totally did not know what type of tea is this, but because I wanted to try a new type of tea (since I've always been drinking english breakfast tea and earl grey), I just chose one that sounded the most decent. It comes in this cute tea set. It tasted kind of like rice, and it really has a milder taste to it. I'm guessing that you re able to refill it once? (not sure since I could not drink anymore then two pots of tea). The cup is really cute. It has like double layer of glass. All the tea under the tea section cost S$8.50.

Macha Panna Cotta
I'm guessing this is kind of like a Macha pudding. They have surround it with jelly and macha tea. Milky pudding with a scoop of red bean paste. I took a bite out off the pudding (since it was my friend's). It was really nice. I think there is a balanced of sweet and bitterness if you eat all of them together at once. Cost S$7.

Shiratama Kuri Mitsu
The one of the left is called Non-caffee Frappe Chocolate. Cannnot tell you how it taste like since I did not try it. But it cost S$6.50
The one of the right is called Shiratama Kuri Mitsu. It had Vanilla ice cream together with jelly and random fruits (Strawberry and blue berry). Cost S$9.00

Lunch
First time trying Popeyes. (or however you spell it as). Ate the spicy chicken together with cheese fries (the cheese comes separately with the fries). The fries and cheese really does taste like the one in long john silver. It also comes with bread. I really liked the fries and chicken (except for the fact that it's a little to dry compared to KFC), but the bread really taste like it has to much flour.
