Ma Maison
Visited Ma Maison at Bugis, because when the last time I ate there, I really liked it. Since last time I ate the Hamburg Steak, I decided to go for the Chicken curry. I didn't really like it though. The chicken were in such huge pieces, and the curry was way to strong.

Twelve Cupcakes
Went to get twelve cupcakes again, because I really wanted to try the rose flavour.

Twelve Cupcakes - Rose
It looks really nice!! And honestly, I was expecting some cupcake with rose fragrance. So this was a total let down. In the sponge, they just added rose syrup. The cream wasn't anything special either. It was just sweet, sweet, and sweet.

Twelve Cupcakes - Strawberry Chocolate
This looked really appetizing too, so I got it. I really like the chocolate sponge. The cream was also good. This tasted a while lot better than the rose one.

Twelve Cupcakes - Vanilla
With vanilla sponge cake and vanilla cheese cream, this is a full vanilla cupcake (minus the cheese part). Nothing really special about this. The sponge tasted like a normal sponge cake.

First time at Ma Maison
First time at Ma Maison. First thing that happened in the shop was that, there was this Japanese waiter who had came to serve us (led us to our seats). I couldn't catch what she was saying in English, and it probably did showed on my face, because the next thing she asked me was that if I understood Japanese. Well I did understand and can speak a little bit of Japanese (but because it was mostly learnt from animes, I was kind of afraid that I would be speaking a little too informal and impolite to her), so I gave it a little thought, but apparently took to much time. And she assumed that I didn't understand Japanese.
Ok so moving on to the place itself. The first time when you step into the store, you can feel that it's really vintage and has this Italian feel to it loved all the deco and the way they had showcased their tarts. It's a really pretty and cozy place. I really recommend people to go to this place.

Food - Starters
So I bought a set lunch, which comes with a soup, salad, drink and the main dish. So here is the corn soup and the salad. I didn't touch the salad since I don't really like vegetables and I extremely dislike any salad dressings with mayonnaise in it (and yes, thousand island have mayo in them).
The corn soup looks totally white, but there are piece of corn in them. I really love the soup because it's not to thick, like most western soup, and there is also a freshness to it (from the corn).

Food - Main Dish
So I ordered Hamburg, which is basically a Japanese modified dish (it's basically meat patty). It comes with a sunny side up and a mamaite (or brovil) sauce. At the sides there are cauliflower, broccoli, baby carrots and potato salad. They are most likely all boiled.
I love the Hamburg. The meat was a little pinkish, and was juicy and bouncy. Though the sauce was a little heavy (really salty), the fresh veggies at the side really helped to balance everything out. The potato salad was also awesome (minus the mayo).
Though one thing I didn't like was how they served the rice (you have a choice of bread of rice to go with your main dish). It was on a plate (like a small plate), which made things hard for me (since I was really used to using chopsticks and bowl) and the rice cooled down really fast.

End
So nearing the end of our lunch, the waiter actually passed us this key with the table number, so that when we go to the cashier, the cashier would know what table we are from. I think this was really unique. The key was really heavy too! Which is unexpected, since most restaurants are kind of cheapskate.

Bugis & Bugis+
Went to bugis and bought pouches. Was too cute to resist. The two pouches (Totoro and the cat) is 2 for $10!!

Haji Lane
Bought this hand made stuff toy from one of the shops at Haji lane. Though the store was filled with cats... and I had to run out before I freak out more....

Time for photo spaming session since I was to lazy to transfer it from my phone.

Korean Cup Noodles!
For the longest time in my life I always wanted to taste Korean cup noodles. So, when I went to Kallang Leisure park and spotted a Korean food store, me and my friend went there to buy cup noodles. The picutre on top is Jajamuyn. It taste kind of weird, and not what I expected. It was sweet (which I dont really like). In the bottom picture, it's a super spicy type of cup noodle. Really Really spicy. Even though I like spice, I really found this spicy. But once you start eating, you just cannot stop. Really recommend that one.

Dessert
Went to try the new Japanese dessert store at 313 somerset, called Dolce Tokyo. A really nice and cosy cafe, except the fact that it is built in the middle of no where. If it would have been in the corner with at least 3 walls,  it would have been a ton better.

Dolce Tokyo
The top picture was what I had ordered. Matcha iced blended with gelato. I actually really liked the taste. It has that really strong matcha smell, which I always really liked. Not to sweet or anything. The only thing about this was that it was over priced. It cost like S$9 for that one cup, and it does not come with does cute little small spoon. So i just poked my straw in to eat it.
The bottom picture was what my friend had ordered. Sundae. You've got Strawberries, peach, brownie, conflakes, marshmallow, matcha gelato and ice cream with matcha sauce. All for the price of S$9 too. THe only problem with it (since i stole a marshmallow from her), was that the marshmallow really tasted like it had been left in the open for quite some time, and lost it's freshness.

OOTD
My new skirt I bought from Bugis. It is in this really cute nude pastel colour with a little bit of lace at the edge for that girly look. I paired it with a random top i bought from Forever 21 which I never worn before because I totally don't know what to match it with. The skirt is really airy, but the shirt really killed me because I was wearing a singlet underneath it due to the fact that it was literally transparent.

Dr. Martens
First time wearing my Dr. Martens ever since I bought it in Hong Kong. My is in the colour Rouge (Also means red in french). It's really comfy, but I have to warn you, the rim really hurts. Try to wear long socks people, if not your going to get scars on your legs.

Lunch
Lunch at Bugis. My friend introduced me to this store at Bugis, beside the Japanese store (which is beside Crystal Jade), because I had sore throat. Really nice. I love the fact that the soup is fish soup.
