Steam Boat

Had steamboat at my house. Used tom yum broth stock for the soup base.

Had Ramen, black pepper sausage, fish balls, Shabu Shabu, Mushroom, tofu and tofu puff. The shabu shabu, sausage and ramen.

Chocolate Cake

Friend made Chocolate cake. Used Chocolate chips, butter, cake flour, eggs and vanilla extract. We melted the butter and chocolate chips first and mixed them together. Than we beat the eggs till fluffy (which took awhile), and add the chocolate mixture in followed by the flour and vanilla extract. Than we stuck it into the microwave (since my oven didn't work).

Dessert

Added vanilla ice cream on top to balance out the richness of the chocolate cake. Was quite nice, minus the fact that it got a little dry and lacked the moisture.

Cooking

Pancakes

Finally cooking decent looking pancakes. I realized in order for to have a perfect brown surface, you must use a non-stick frying pan (cannot add oil).

Gyouza

Did gyouza from scratch (even the skin) Though I think I over cooked it a little, and the skin is a little hard. Recipe from:

Choux Cream (Cream Puff)

Attempted in making Choux Cream at friend's house. Though the puffs didn't come out right, at least they taste right. Used the instructions by cookingwiththedog

Making Pudding

Custard Pudding

Attempted making custard Pudding. Used only eggs, milk, sugar and water. Followed the youtube video below:

Milk Pudding

Used the same ingredients as the custard pudding, only i took out the egg yolk, and no caramel because i hated the brunt smell.
